Main Topic: 20+ cool things Guest Speaker: Brian Reel – Tridaq Applications Engineer
Ladies & Gentlemen,
(Notice that I got this meeting back to our normal Tuesday evening.)
Next meeting:
Here is what he plans on bringing to the meeting:
“My plan is to present a fun yet informative presentation that we have shown at other user group meetings in Des Moines and Wichita in the past. It is entitled “20+ cool things”. I have constantly added new things to this so we are up to 30 some now. Some are very obscure things that most wouldn’t know about, and some are tips from tech support related questions we have received over the years. We also present this in a fun “game show” type look and feel with some hidden “prizes”. And as an added bonus, we will also look at some highlights of what’s new for SW2012.”
And in case you want to know more about Brian, read this next portion. If you are part of his little-known cult following, then don’t bother – you already know this stuff. J
I have been in the design field for over 16 years, and I have been using SolidWorks since 1999 as a user with mechanical design background. I am currently a SolidWorks Elite Application Engineer for Tridaq, and have been an employee for Tridaq since January of 2004. I am required to perform various tasks such as on-site software demonstrations of the entire suite of SolidWorks products, training customers on how to use the products in classroom settings, and provide technical support for the suite of SolidWorks products. I have also given presentations at other user group meetings in the Midwest, presented at 3 SolidWorks World events, and most recently at the SolidWorks User Group Summit in Kansas City this past summer.
This should be a great presentation for just about everyone because there’s always some little trick or tip to learn. And even if you are just starting to learn SolidWorks, you can take these tips back to your company and really show the old-timers something new! J
